About the role
Responsibilities
- Create dishes from scratch using locally sourced products
- Prepare healthy and delicious meals with high attention to taste and presentation
- Build relationships with customers and incorporate their feedback
- Manage business aspects including cash flow, budget, and inventory
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate culinary staff
- Implement company procedures regarding dietary restrictions and allergy awareness
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve unit performance
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or formal culinary training
- 3+ years of recent experience in high-volume food service
- FoodSafe certification
- Thorough knowledge of food service industry regulations
- Superior verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience leading and motivating high-performance teams
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems
