Bilingual Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and lead safety training for individuals and groups in both office and field settings
• Provide on-the-spot job site training to superintendents, subcontractors, and associates
• Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned projects and publish compliance reports
• Partner with Project Managers to review engineered plans and drawings for potential safety hazards
• Conduct formal investigations into work-related incidents to determine causes and corrective actions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Local, State, and Federal safety and health regulations
• Travel to various job sites (approximately 2-3 days per week) to provide ongoing support

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Prior construction industry experience is required
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel locally and nationwide 2-3 days per week, including occasional out-of-state travel

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Safety and Health experience
• BS in Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related field
• Professional certifications such as STS, CHST, or CSP
• OSHA 500/510 certification
• Forklift and MEWP (aerial lifts) instructor training
