Bilingual Pre-K Instructional Assistant

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a lead teacher to maintain high academic and behavioral standards
• Create an inclusive classroom community through training and dialogue on race and identity
• Plan and prepare effective curriculum implementation and share whole-group teaching duties
• Use assessment data to refine instructional practice
• Facilitate differentiated learning through small-group and one-on-one instruction
• Maintain strong relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues
• Supervise bathroom use, change diapers, and assist with clothing as needed
• Support scholars' social and emotional health in partnership with the scholar support team
• Foster active citizenship through age-appropriate conversations, community service, and cultural celebration
• Engage in whole-school events, family conferences, tutoring, and other duties
