Bilingual Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by processing deposits, paying out funds, and managing cash and check transactions accurately.
• Evaluate new and existing customer relationships to recommend appropriate bank products and services.
• Meet monthly production goals for new accounts as assigned by management.
• Participate in an active sales environment, which may include in-store aisle prospecting.
• Prepare and sell money orders, cashier's checks, bank-to-bank wires, certificates of deposit, and Western Union services.
• Verify cash and check endorsements carefully to guard against counterfeit items.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle cash and perform accurate mathematical calculations.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience in retail or customer service.
