Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for hourly and salaried employees
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on staffing needs and hiring support
- Coach leaders on performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Handle sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Administer workers’ compensation claims and documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and audit timecards
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to plant leadership
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law (OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Comp)
- Proven experience handling employee relations and investigations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience supporting hourly manufacturing populations
- Start-up or high-growth environment experience
- Proficiency with Paylocity or similar HRIS
