Bilingual French & Spanish Language Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide IB French and Spanish education to students using immersion methods
• Plan curriculum using the IB DP Language curriculum framework
• Advise students through an advisory class and support the school's instructional program
• Proactively manage the classroom learning environment to maximize engagement
• Collaborate with general and special educators, coordinators, and leadership
• Infuse technology into instruction via the 1:1 Chromebooks program
• Lead and participate in cultural activities for faculty and students

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Bilingual and biliterate in French and Spanish
• Ability to clear a background check
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in secondary education or the content area
• Previous experience teaching in this content area
• Experience teaching MYP/DP French/Spanish (Language A or B) or similar AP and Honors courses
• Proficiency with G-Suite tools including Gmail
