Bilingual Client Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service via telephone, mail, or email to support BMO Life Assurance products and insurance channels
• Answer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding insurance products and policies
• Process client service and administrative requests according to established procedures and policies
• Resolve complex issues and handle escalations as required
• Examine official documents to ensure appropriate authorization and compliance with guidelines
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives
• Analyze data and information to provide insights, recommendations, and workflow improvements
• Maintain accurate computer records to ensure the integrity of client information

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a client service or insurance-related role
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of insurance products, processes, and policies
• Working understanding of policy contract wording and interpretation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts (e.g., 8:30-4:30, 9:00-5:00, or 10:00-6:00)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingualism in French is considered a strong asset
