Positive Development works one-on-one with autistic children, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills through play-based, relationship-focused interactions.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in home-based or center-based settings
- Build communication, social, and daily living skills through play and shared activities
- Follow a relationship-based intervention model to achieve strong outcomes
- Track progress by documenting session notes and goal outcomes
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and supervisors to build clinical skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 1 year of volunteer or working experience with children
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including playing on the floor and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
