About the role
Responsibilities
- Support customers by answering inbound calls regarding employee and retiree annuity benefits
- Assist callers with retirement-related inquiries and general benefit information
- Manage steady call volumes while navigating multiple systems to provide accurate resolutions
- Maintain high levels of empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive customer information
- Work independently in a remote environment to meet performance expectations
Requirements
- Fluent ability to read, write, and speak in both English and Spanish
- Previous customer service or call center experience
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree
- Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency navigating multiple computer systems
- Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- Ability to connect via ethernet cable to a modem/router
- Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a background check
