Responsibilities

• Read scripts from a teleprompter in both Italian and English to teach Italian to English speakers
• Portray a professional persona that is helpful and friendly rather than a strict teacher
• Deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases for interactive video lessons

Requirements

• Native proficiency in both Italian and English
• Neutral Italian accent
• Ability to read and act out scripts for language instruction
• Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
• Bright and positive energy
• Ability to coordinate and take direction
• Based in Los Angeles with access to transportation
• Note: Those who learned Italian in high school or college will not qualify

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a teleprompter
• Experience in teaching a second language
• Acting experience
• A passion for language teaching and learning
