B.I.G. Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties on various metal structures according to specifications
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all welding tasks
• Inspect and assess welded joints for quality and technique accuracy
• Maintain equipment and tools in optimal working conditions through regular upkeep
• Collaborate with team members to fabricate and assemble components
• Interpret bill of materials and technical drawings to complete projects as required
• Document work processes and report any discrepancies or repair needs promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with various welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and protocols associated with welding
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity for handling tools and materials
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certification from a recognized institution
