BI/DW Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage BI/DW technology platforms including Cognos, Informatica, Qlikview, and IBM InfoSphere
• Handle patching, security, release upgrades, LDAP, and performance configuration
• Manage application security, backups, and restores
• Perform deep-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Respond to and resolve technical tickets within defined SLAs
• Monitor, report, and control server usage
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Coordinate with vendor support for unresolved issues or hotfixes
• Partner with DBA, Systems, Networking, and Middleware teams for issue resolution

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in at least two BI/DW technologies (e.g., Cognos, Informatica, Qlikview, IBM InfoSphere)
• Experience with security management and Active Directory integration
• Proficiency in reading application logs for troubleshooting
• Knowledge of ITIL practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to provide on-call support
