Bid Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead complex end-to-end tender processes from pre-qualification and bid/no-bid decisions to final submission and follow-up.
• Develop winning technical and commercial strategies in close collaboration with sales, engineering, and financial teams.
• Coordinate internal expert contributions to ensure the development of robust, competitive, and compliant proposals.
• Manage internal approval processes (LoA) and optimize pricing strategies, risk management, and commercial positioning.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders to clarify offers and support effective negotiation phases.
• Drive growth for the Substations Grid Technologies business unit by increasing tender response capacity and securing high-value projects.

Requirements

• Engineering, business, or an equivalent technical/commercial degree.
• 5+ years of significant experience in tender management, complex project management, or technical solution sales.
• Proven track record managing multi-million euro international tenders.
• Strong expertise in financial and commercial aspects, including budgeting, negotiation, procurement, and pricing strategy.
• Solid project management skills, including risk management, planning, and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, influence, and maintain a client-oriented mindset.
