Bid Manager

Responsibilities

• Construct competitive, optimized, and profitable technical offers aligned with client needs
• Determine technical solutions by leveraging internal expertise
• Balance specific client needs with existing validated solutions
• Identify cost drivers and propose relevant trade-offs
• Analyze and value risks and opportunities
• Present and argue solutions internally and to clients
• Estimate R&D studies and build associated schedules
• Draft client deliverables including technical proposals and compliance matrices
• Validate technical content for marketing materials
• Assist sales teams during technical negotiations
• For civil affairs: validate technical solutions from specification to delivery, draft bodywork consultation specifications, and ensure technical development follow-up

Requirements

• Good knowledge of vehicle and mechanical systems
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate technical stakeholders and manage multiple consultations simultaneously
• Experience in technical pre-sales, transport, industrial bodywork, or defense is a plus
