Bid Manager - Compressor

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive bid strategies for FPSO and other regional projects, aligning with business objectives and win-themes.
• Manage the end-to-end proposal creation process, coordinating input from sales, engineering, legal, and finance to produce high-quality, compliant bids.
• Analyze tender requirements (RFQs/RFPs) to identify key commercial, technical, and execution risks and opportunities.
• Structure and negotiate contracts with external customers and EPCs, ensuring terms are consistent with business objectives and risk policies.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling for proposals to ensure profitability.
• Act as the central point of contact for all bid-related activities, facilitating communication between internal teams, partners, and external clients.
• Coach and mentor lower-level professionals to enhance team capacity and support professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in bid management, proposal development, or contract management.
• Proven track record of managing and winning large-scale, complex bids, particularly within the energy, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong expertise in negotiation, pricing strategies, and value propositions.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex project timelines effectively.
