Bicycle Retail Technical Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a highly motivated, customer-centric team
• Provide regular feedback and daily coaching through role-playing and debriefing
• Lead staff to ensure consistent customer engagement and exceptional service
• Oversee effective merchandising to maximize product visibility
• Manage inventory precision, including purchasing plans and regular spot checks
• Review and manage warranty claims to ensure customer satisfaction
• Actively work the sales floor as a top contributor to meet sales goals
• Participate in annual budgeting and financial reviews
• Maintain staff schedules to align with business needs
• Personally address guest interactions to uphold hospitality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in specialty or cycling retail
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Proficiency in inventory management, merchandising, and sales tracking systems
• Experience with budgeting, sales forecasting, and financial targets
• Knowledge of cycling products, bike fitting, and industry trends
• Proficiency with POS systems and Google Workspace
• Physical ability to lift and move bicycles and equipment up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
