BI Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the ThoughtSpot platform's architecture, administration, and strategic enablement.
• Design, develop, and implement ThoughtSpot dashboards, Liveboards, and worksheets.
• Optimize BigQuery data models and write high-performance SQL for large-scale analytical workloads.
• Drive query performance tuning and cost optimization in BigQuery using partitioning and clustering.
• Administer ThoughtSpot SaaS environments, including user management and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Use ThoughtSpot Modeling Language (TML) and REST APIs for automation and environment migrations.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and conduct training sessions to onboard new teams.
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure scalable and governed analytics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or analytics platform engineering.
• Expert-level experience with ThoughtSpot development, architecture, and administration.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Advanced proficiency in BigQuery SQL and data modeling for large-scale analytics.
• Experience with enterprise governance, RBAC, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and platform automation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead initiatives end-to-end.
