BI Reporting Analyst SAP

Responsibilities

• Record, analyze, and confirm business requirements in functional specification documents
• Develop or modify reports considering end-user requirements, reporting tools, and data models
• Handle support requests by providing innovative and practicable reporting solutions
• Work with key business users to identify reporting opportunities and understand business problems
• Collaborate with the BI Technical Team regarding data models, availability, and integrity
• Analyze required data sources and data health for reporting solutions
• Prepare deliverables including documentation and training materials
• Build and maintain relationships with business and IT teams
• Assist in testing new releases, upgrades, or patches for SAP BW and BObj
• Provide timely status updates to the Reporting team lead

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with BObj suite of tools
• Experience in gathering business requirements and report solution design
• Strong math and analytics background
• Proficiency with BObj 4.0 tools including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Xcelsius
• Experience with design and construction of dashboards
• Working experience with SAP BEx Analyzer and Query Designer tools
• Strong understanding of SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Data Warehousing concepts
• Understanding of SAP modules including FI/CO, SD, MM, PS, PM, and HR
• Experience building reports from SAP BW data models
• Knowledge of deploying BI reports through SAP Enterprise Portal
