BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and development of BI products, semantic models, and reporting solutions
• Define technical standards for BI development, modelling, documentation, and governance
• Design and develop performant LookML models, Explores, and dashboards
• Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering to influence data models and warehouse structures
• Replace manual reporting and Google Sheets-based processes with scalable, governed solutions
• Support the development of planning tools for forecasting and performance tracking
• Improve data governance by creating clear definitions and reusable reporting logic

Requirements

• Experience in BI Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or modern BI development
• Strong experience with Looker, LookML, and SQL
• Experience building reporting products for commercial, finance, supply chain, or logistics teams
• Strong dimensional data modelling skills
• Experience working with governed reporting environments and reusable logic
• Ability to translate business problems into technical reporting solutions
• Experience with Python, Google Apps Script, or automation is a plus
