BGA Operator-3

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and online "go/no go" inspections of electronics, subassemblies, and peripherals to identify defects
• Set up workstations with correct process inspection documents, screens, and workflow instructions
• Handle touch-ups, repairs, and adjustments to components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional requirements
• Interpret manufacturing process instructions, visual aids, and drawings using microscopes and magnifying lenses
• Use specialized machinery, such as Automatic Inspection machines, to detect defects
• Document workload by calculating the number of products inspected and rejected
• Scan products and enter data into shop floor control or manual tracking systems
• Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and manufacturing support teams to communicate process problems

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in electronics manufacturing
• IPC certification
• Ability to use specialized equipment and perform complex assembly tasks
• Ability to read and comprehend complex manufacturing instructions and drawings
• Strong mathematical skills for performing operations involving weight and distance
