BestDrive Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, install, and balance tires and tire/wheel assemblies
• Repair commercial vehicle and medium truck tires, including off-the-road equipment
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service to determine repairable conditions
• Operate heavy-duty service equipment such as boom cranes, jacks, compressors, and hydraulic tools
• Perform emergency road service calls on a rotating basis during nights or weekends
• Maintain assigned service vehicles and onboard equipment
• Document all work performed accurately according to company policy
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and safety requirements

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
• Physical ability to lift 75-100 lbs routinely and up to 150 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a tire service technician
• CDL License
• TIA certification
