BestDrive Retread Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, analyze, and repair CLT and Medium Truck tires to provide high-quality retreading services
• Use specialized tools and procedures to inspect casings and run them through shearography machines
• Buff casings and apply tread using established methods and work instructions
• Prepare casings for curing by installing inner envelopes and ensuring airtight seals
• Perform vacuum tests and repair casing injuries
• Load curing chambers and set proper parameters for each load
• Communicate with sales teams and fleet personnel regarding service tasks
• Complete all necessary paperwork legibly and comply with OSHA safety regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing experience
