BestDrive Retread Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, analyze, and repair CLT and Medium Truck tires to provide high-quality retreading services
• Use specialized tools and procedures to inspect casings and run them through shearography machines
• Buff remaining tread and apply new tread to prepared casings following established work instructions
• Prepare casings for curing by installing inner envelopes and ensuring airtight seals via vacuum testing
• Load curing chambers and set appropriate parameters for the load
• Communicate effectively with BestDrive salesmen and fleet personnel regarding service tasks
• Complete all necessary paperwork legibly and comply with OSHA and safety regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not available)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 150 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing experience
