About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
- Process benefit enrollments, life event changes, eligibility updates, and employee transactions in HR and vendor systems
- Support administration of leave of absence programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other company leave programs
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, leave, and policies
- Research and resolve employee issues by partnering with HR, payroll, managers, vendors, and third-party administrators
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy between HR systems, payroll, and benefit carrier data
- Manage benefits invoicing processes and ensure accurate tracking, reconciliation, and payment of vendor billing
- Support open enrollment activities, employee communications, and ongoing benefits initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within benefits administration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, leave administration, or a related HR function
- Working knowledge of employee benefit programs and leave of absence processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
