Benefits Call Center Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for potential and existing members regarding benefits inquiries
• Provide accurate benefits information by navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously
• Document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances with high attention to detail
• Perform outbound calls as needed to support member needs
• Enter application and enrollment information into web-based systems accurately
• Handle complex retirement and benefit concepts with empathy and professionalism during sensitive life events

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Previous customer service or call center experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding
• Ability to pass a typing test with a minimum of 20 wpm
• Flexibility to work a schedule between Monday and Friday, 8:00am–8:00pm EST

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with healthcare and employer benefits
