About the role
Responsibilities
- Support employees by answering incoming calls regarding healthcare, retirement, and other benefit options
- Help participants understand plan options, provisions, and required forms
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and web while documenting calls in the case management system
- Complete customer-related transactions and follow up with prompt callbacks
- Meet accuracy, timeliness, and performance metric standards
- Assist with back-office tasks such as claims processing and general administrative work
Requirements
- Previous call center experience handling high-volume calls
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
