About the role
Responsibilities
- Process and track benefit premium invoices, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Assist with benefit enrollments and deduction setup in the Banner Payroll system and provider websites.
- Coordinate wellness events, programs, and open enrollment activities.
- Develop benefits and wellness communications, such as newsletters and other assigned projects.
- Support the administration of tuition benefit programs, including Tuition Remission and Tuition Exchange.
- Respond to employee benefit inquiries via email and in person.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of general office or administrative support experience in a confidential setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage benefits-related data in an ERP or Benefit Administration System.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, high-accountability environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity.
