About the role
Responsibilities
- Support employees by answering incoming calls regarding healthcare, retirement, and other benefit options
- Help participants understand plan options, provisions, and required forms
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and web while documenting calls thoroughly in the case management system
- Complete customer-related transactions and callbacks with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform back-office tasks such as claims processing and general administrative work
- Follow call center policies, procedures, and performance metrics
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous call center experience handling high-volume calls
- Proficiency in MS Office and keyboarding
- Basic computer knowledge, including command prompts, shortcuts, and troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a background check and drug test
