About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with day-to-day questions regarding employee benefit programs
  • Identify and resolve claim and billing issues with insureds and carriers
  • Act as a liaison to internal service departments including FSA and COBRA
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding Open Enrollment, ACA, compliance, and legislation
  • Assist in the enrollment process including eligibility, qualifying events, and terminations
  • Conduct open enrollment and educational meetings for employees
  • Keep producers informed of all important account activities

Requirements

  • Life and Health license is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree
  • One to two years of employee group benefit experience
  • Knowledge of benefit enrollment systems and marketplace/exchange systems
