About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise all sales executives, including setting activity metrics and holding regular sales meetings
- Accompany sales executives on calls to assist in closing business
- Hire, train, and develop new sales executives through formal development plans
- Define sales territories to optimize efficiency
- Develop policies for handling incoming leads from national portals, conferences, and web opportunities
- Formulate strategies to increase penetration and engagement with top US brokers
- Provide feedback to executive leadership on product and pricing requirements
- Collaborate on marketing budgets, priorities, and conference attendance
Requirements
- Four-year degree
- Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience
- Experience within the employee benefits industry preferred
- Strong leadership and accountability skills
- Solid understanding of the employee benefits and wellness business
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems; proficiency in HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus
- Life and Health Insurance License is recommended but not required
