About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all sales executives, including setting activity metrics and holding regular sales meetings
  • Accompany sales executives on calls to assist in closing business
  • Hire, train, and develop new sales executives through formal development plans
  • Define sales territories to optimize efficiency
  • Develop policies for handling incoming leads from national portals, conferences, and web opportunities
  • Formulate strategies to increase penetration and engagement with top US brokers
  • Provide feedback to executive leadership on product and pricing requirements
  • Collaborate on marketing budgets, priorities, and conference attendance

Requirements

  • Four-year degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience
  • Experience within the employee benefits industry preferred
  • Strong leadership and accountability skills
  • Solid understanding of the employee benefits and wellness business
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems; proficiency in HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus
  • Life and Health Insurance License is recommended but not required
