Benefit Funding Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end movement of benefit funds through payments infrastructure, ensuring transaction accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Own client invoicing for benefit funding programs and reconcile complex claims bank account transactions.
• Monitor clinic and provider payments against contracted standards and partner with operations to resolve SLA gaps.
• Manage the floated benefit funding program, including tracking outstanding balances and driving timely recoupment.
• Lead cross-functional root cause analyses on financial discrepancies to implement structural solutions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to design application enhancements and automate financial workflows.
• Act as the financial subject matter expert for Client Success to resolve billing disputes.

Requirements

• 6+ years in revenue cycle management, financial analysis, or payment operations.
• Direct experience in benefit funding, claims banking, or healthcare payment operations.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring staff or managing cross-functional workstreams.
• Extensive experience in account reconciliation and using data tools like Looker to drive decisions.
• Proficiency in Asana and Jira for managing workflows and technical tasks.
• Proven ability to build sophisticated financial processes in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
