Bench Technician Associate

Responsibilities

• Diagnose physical and operational electronic and assembly issues using hardware and software combinations
• Communicate with cross-functional teams on advanced architecture, sensor, and compute control systems
• Follow work instructions including tech papers, schematics, 2D/3D prints, and sample harnesses
• Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses using hand tools and rework techniques
• Validate signal path, network functionality, and configuration management
• Document configuration management, diagnostic events, and bench health using automated tools
• Track inventory of project parts and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, server rack installation, and wire management
• High School Diploma or GED with two years of employment experience
• Ability to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
• Ability to travel up to 20% for training or meetings
• Experience in professional environments emphasizing safety and procedure

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology or a similar field
• Experience flashing automotive control modules and CAN bus operation
• Familiarity with oscilloscope or picoscope usage
• Basic knowledge of networking technology and troubleshooting
