About the role
Responsibilities
- Create new jewelry pieces from molds starting from raw castings
- File fine jewelry to prepare for polishing, including straightening parts and resizing rings
- Assemble components using appropriate soldering techniques
- Assemble customized jewelry pieces or reproduce items to design specifications
- Restore and alter old or damaged jewelry to meet customer requirements
- Perform quality inspections on products and individual parts
- Prepare finished products for secure and professional shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in jewelry production preferred
- Proficiency in silversmithing, goldsmithing, engraving, fabrication, wax carving, or polishing
- Familiarity with casting, soldering, and polishing tools
- Ability to handle a physically demanding workload and stand for prolonged periods
- Manual dexterity and close visual attention for operating hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
