Bench Hand - Additive Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, receiving, and final inspections for first article and production readiness
• Operate 3D structured light scanners, CMM equipment, and associated software
• Manufacture and test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
• Visually inspect parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
• Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications
• Ensure continuous flow of materials through the cell while adhering to all safety standards
• Work to reduce scrap and improve throughput to meet team quality goals

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet physical requirements including pushing/pulling 60 pounds
• U.S. Citizenship is required; must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMM systems and familiarity with open DMIS language
• Experience with optical 3D structured light scanning equipment
• Proficiency with Geomagic Control X inspection software
