About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional, receiving, and final inspections for first article and production readiness
- Operate 3D structured light scanners, CMM equipment, and associated software
- Manufacture and test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
- Visually inspect parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications
- Ensure continuous flow of materials through the cell while adhering to all safety standards
- Work to reduce scrap and improve throughput to meet team quality goals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet physical requirements including pushing/pulling 60 pounds
- U.S. Citizenship is required; must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMM systems and familiarity with open DMIS language
- Experience with optical 3D structured light scanning equipment
- Proficiency with Geomagic Control X inspection software
