Bench Assembly Cell Operator

Responsibilities

• Build and disassemble various new technology production gas turbine engine modules, subassemblies, and accessories
• Follow specified work instructions, including assembly floor specifications, computer-generated instructions, assembly drawings, and work orders
• Ensure compliance with all technical requirements and quality standards
• Properly complete all necessary build records and required documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to read and understand technical data
• English proficiency (reading, writing, and understanding)

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand commercial and military procedures
• Flexibility to perform a variety of assembly functions on different products
• Strong computer skills and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated versatility and initiative to manage multiple competing priorities
• AP license preferred
