Beltman

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders to lift and transport bulk materials to storage areas, conveyors, and hoppers
• Load trucks and railcars with aggregate materials
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
• Verify aggregate levels in storage bins to ensure adequate quantity and quality of raw materials
• Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA safety rules and regulations
• Participate in minor maintenance and visual evaluations of plant equipment
• Communicate with plant superintendents and other personnel to resolve operational problems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience operating heavy machinery or similar equipment
• Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and common units of measurement
• Ability to read and understand English for manuals, regulations, and safety reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or vocational education related to heavy equipment operation
