Behaviour for Learning Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a vibrant and successful Learning Hub
• Ensure excellent behaviour for learning within the Learning Hub
• Monitor and support the achievement of students within a designated Hub
• Lead, manage, and ensure the successful delivery of the Academy's vision for individual student achievement
• Lead, advise, and support a team of coaches
• Play a significant role in all aspects of the Academy's community life
• Contribute to the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Academy
• Lead on pastoral, social, emotional, and behavioural issues for students

Requirements

• Proven success in raising student achievement
• High level of ICT skills and experience using new technologies to raise achievement
• Strong understanding of creative whole-school strategies for improving literacy and numeracy
• Experience using coaching as a model for ongoing professional development
• Ideally, experience working in multi-ethnic urban schools
