Behavioral Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions to clients focusing on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement
• Assist the team in providing ongoing assessments of client symptoms and responses to interventions
• Support clients in recovery and rehabilitation goal development
• Ensure services are culturally competent, strengths-based, and inclusive of client preferences
• Provide assistance with transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments
• Assist with the administration of prescribed medications as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field
• Experience working with adults with mental illness
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
