Behavioral Health Technician

We provide a full continuum of services, including detox, dual diagnosis treatment, residential and outpatient programs, and specialized mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate clients' daily activities including wake ups, chore supervision, meal service, and laundry
• Observe and monitor client behavior and intervene based on treatment plans
• Facilitate assigned groups, meetings, and activities per program schedule
• Document observations and milieu interventions in client records
• Coordinate milieu treatment with counseling staff
• Complete staff shift reports and summaries
• Transport clients to appointments or ancillary services as directed
• Supervise self-administration of client medications following appropriate training
• Conduct new client check-ins, including searches of belongings
• Follow emergency procedures and escalation protocols
• Provide Against Treatment Advice (ATA) prevention and support
• Conduct UA drug screen collection as directed

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working with mental health or dual diagnosis preferred
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to pass TB or X-Ray clearance
• Ability to pass a clean background check and livescan
