About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for individuals and families
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with external providers such as primary care physicians, schools, and psychiatrists
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards
  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when required
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and agency-wide training

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
  • Active, unrestricted license in the state of Connecticut or Massachusetts
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., ACT, CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass satisfactory background checks
  • Proficient computer skills for clinical documentation
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
