About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for individuals and families
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, schools, and psychiatrists to coordinate care
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards
  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and agency-wide training

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
  • Active, unrestricted license in the state of practice (CT or MA)
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities such as ACT, CBT, or DBT
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass satisfactory background checks
  • Proficient computer skills for clinical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with trauma-informed care
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
