Behavior Therapist

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA therapy plans under BCBA supervision to teach new skills in communication and socialization
• Reduce challenging or injurious behaviors
• Deliver play-based, child-centered therapy using the NDBI framework
• Collect accurate session data and communicate progress with clinical supervisors
• Build positive relationships with children and families and provide daily updates to caregivers
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment

Requirements

• Available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Passion for working with children with Autism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physically active tasks including sitting on the floor, crawling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Experience working with children
