About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person ABA therapy and behavioral support in a school-based setting
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Support students in achieving behavioral, social, communication, and academic goals
- Collect and accurately record data on student progress and skill acquisition
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the BCBA to ensure consistent implementation of strategies
- Participate in supervision sessions and attend required team meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children
- Passion for supporting children with special needs
- Reliable transportation
- Active CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain it within a set timeframe
