Behavior Technician (RBT)

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person ABA therapy and behavioral support in a school-based setting
• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Support students in achieving behavioral, social, communication, and academic goals
• Collect and accurately record data on student progress and skill acquisition
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the BCBA to ensure consistent implementation of strategies
• Participate in supervision sessions and attend required team meetings

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children
• Passion for supporting children with special needs
• Reliable transportation
• Active CPR certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• RBT certification or willingness to obtain it within a set timeframe
