Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA therapy to clients in 1:1 and group settings under BCBA supervision
• Implement behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Communicate client progress to parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 45 days
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license/insurance where required
• Background check clearance
• CPR/First Aid certification and current TB test
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with mobile devices and digital apps for data entry

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Behavior Technician, teacher’s aide, tutor, CNA, caregiver, or home health aide
• Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities
