About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
- Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols
- Maintain timely documentation and communicate progress to families as directed by BCBA/BC
- Uphold safety standards, report incidents, and maintain a clean, organized therapy environment
- Support BCBA/BC with client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition preparation
Requirements
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB
- High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and annual TB testing
- Physical ability to perform floor work, lift up to 50lbs, and move quickly for child safety
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Proficiency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
- Good written and verbal communication skills; cultural competency and flexibility
