About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
  • Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per individualized treatment plans
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols
  • Maintain timely documentation and communicate progress to families as directed by BCBA/BC
  • Uphold safety standards, report incidents, and maintain a clean, organized therapy environment
  • Support BCBA/BC with client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition preparation

Requirements

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB
  • High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and annual TB testing
  • Physical ability to perform floor work, lift up to 50lbs, and move quickly for child safety
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
  • Proficiency with mobile devices and digital applications for data recording
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; cultural competency and flexibility
