The FirstSteps Team is inspired by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. We provide evidence-based, behavior analytic treatment to children diagnosed with autism and related learning differences while offering a collaborative and dynamic work experience for our team.
Responsibilities
- Teach children diagnosed with autism meaningful skills including communication, socialization, self-care, and school readiness
- Work closely with teachers, parents, BCBAs, and behavioral health specialists
- Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through our paid training program
Requirements
- Experience working with children (work, study, or volunteer)
- High school graduation with experience in psychology, behavioral health, child development, or mental health (or college enrollment/degree)
- Childhood vaccinations and non-reactive TB test
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors/child-sized furniture, and move quickly from seated to running stance
