About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide creative support and community-based care for adults with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Implement approved interventions, including safe crisis management, emotional support, and positive reinforcement
  • Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal care to increase independence
  • Maintain accurate and precise case notes and documentation regarding individual outcomes
  • Engage in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field OR a High School Diploma with at least 1,000 hours of DSP experience
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle during work hours
  • Minimum of two years of U.S. driver's license history
  • Ability to provide personal care and manage behavioral crises effectively
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, and assisting individuals with mobility needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders or behavior management
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • NADD certifications or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst credentials
