About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral support and community-based care for adults with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Implement approved interventions, including safe crisis management, emotional support, and positive reinforcement
  • Assist individuals with daily living skills and creative community-based activities
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation regarding individual progress and outcomes
  • Engage in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology OR High School Diploma with 1,000 hours of DSP experience
  • Alternatively, hold a current RBT, CNA, BCBA, or NADD certification
  • Valid driver's license with at least two years of US driving history
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for use during work hours
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and assisting individuals with mobility
