About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide outreach support services to forensic PACT clients and medication supports to clients living independently in the community
- Provide side by side interventions focusing on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement
- Assist the team and consumers in providing on-going assessment of symptoms and responses to staff interventions
- Promote opportunities to participate in pro-social activities and interpersonal skill development
- Provide assistance to consumers related to transportation to court, work sites, court mandated treatment, probation/parole meetings, and appointments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, criminal justice, social work, or a related field
- At least two years of experience working with the target population
- Skills to establish supportive relationships with adults with mental illness and histories of unsuccessful community tenure
- Valid Massachusetts Driver's License
