About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the global Business Continuity Management (BCM) function by ensuring compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
- Provide support and recommendations to Relationship Managers regarding BCM policies, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Conduct health checks on business continuity plans and ensure data fidelity for semi-annual reporting.
- Participate in the 24/7 incident management on-call program to support response efforts until issues are resolved.
- Partner with stakeholders across the bank to implement governance structures and enhance business continuity management programs.
- Maintain key notification lists, training materials, and on-call schedules.
- Prepare monthly reports and updates regarding BCM activities and plan currency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define business tradeoffs and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience working within a matrix organization and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with internal and external audits or working directly with regulators.
